Every year brings its own unique adventure. We have been on a four year journey now, here in Nashville, TN. I must admit, it has been a nonstop adventure with my wife Reinalisa and our three amazing boys in this BIG SMALL TOWN. From exciting moments full of joy, to lonely days away from our immediate families. We've been learning and growing together as a family. If there has been one major lesson is 2013, it has been learning to value and appreciate the family God above has blessed me with.
It's been so easy to lose focus and feel the need to be accepted, loved and appreciated outside of what is already in front of me. Also, distraction by the things I want to achieve, while missing out on the goals we are already hitting! As we roll into this next year, I am stoked to be apart of another chapter, another season of this life I have been granted, undeserving, but..yet again.
Yeah, I get it. We're all tired of hearing the same end of year rants of what we are going to be in this next year. The old is gone, in with the new. The new me. But, I believe everyone's rants are genuine and true. We're all broken folks simply trying to find our place in this world. Maybe 2013 wasn't the greatest for you, heck, make it happen in 2014! So stop for a second tonight. Close your eyes and take a deep deep breath...What a blessing to live another day going into a new year. In this next year my goal will be to stop a little more, take in the moment and really appreciate what God has blessed me with. I'll start by simplifying a few things. Cheers for this 2013! Let's welcome 2014!!!
